Rental Policies


Policies, Terms and Important Information:

Location: On a quite residential street and just off Thomas Square, 1.6 miles south of the Savannah River.

Parking: Complimentary off street parking behind the house for two cars on a first come, first served basis. Street parking is ample and unrestricted

Breakfast: We’re not a bed & breakfast but an inn that provides a complementary continental breakfast, and everything, bagels, muffins, coffee, tea, orange juice, bottle water, yogurt and granola bars will be in your apartment when you arrive. We do not provide breakfast service.

Wi-Fi: Password protected, 5G.

Housekeeping: We don’t provide daily housekeeping but our housekeeper with re-fresh your apartment for stays of 4 days or longer.

Check-in: By appointment only between 4:00 PM -7:00 PM. In deference to other guests late night check-ins are not allowed. Please call us immediately if this may be an issue.

Check-out: 10:00 AM, if you’d like a late check-out, please ask the day before.

Common Areas: Limited to the front porch and gardens only, there is no interior common area.

Smoking / Vaping: Not allowed by local Savannah ordinance anywhere on the property.

Children: Under 14 are not allowed, infants less than 1 year are allowed.

Payment: A deposit of 25% of your total reservation is collected at the time your reservation is made and the balance is charged at check-in. We only accept MasterCard and VISA credit cards, Travelers Checks and cash. Credit card companies do not allow accommodation charges to split charges over multiple credit cards. The Galloway House reserves the right to cancel any reservation within the first 24 hours after the reservation is made.

Pets: Pets are no longer allowed. Unfortunately we had to change this policy due to abuse.

Service Animals: ADA regulations allow us to require the following: 1. Current and complete vaccination records must be emailed to 72 hours (3 days) prior to arrival for all animals. 2. Vaccinations must comply with all City of Savannah and State of Georgia laws 3. Guest agrees to pay a non-refundable $200 Verification Fee per animal if records are not submitted 48 hours prior to arrival. 4. All animals must be leashed at all times. 5. ALL owners must always clean-up after their animals.

Terms: Guests agree to indemnify and save individual owners, Keith K. Galloway and his employees, free and harmless for any liabilities or any loss or damage whatsoever arising from, related to, or in any connection with the rental of the premises, including but not limited to, any claim or liability of personal injury or damage or loss of property which is incurred or sustained by a guest or the guest’s of a guest. Keith Galloway reserves the right to refuse or discontinue tenancy if, in his sole opinion, any person displays inappropriate behavior. Guests will be responsible for any damages or theft. A valid credit card must be on file for every reservation. Policies are subject to change without notice. Reservations may not be re-sold.

Cancellations: All requests to cancel or in any way change any reservation must be made in writing. There is a $50 cancellation fee for all cancellations. Thirty days (720 hours) or more prior to arrival, please email your request for a full refund less the $50 cancellation fee. Between 30 days (719 hours) and 14 days (337) hours please email your request and you will be responsible for 50% of the total reservation cost. Fourteen days (336 hours) or less prior to your arrival please email your request and you will responsible for the total cost of the reservation.
